David Hopkins, CEO & Founder
Mr. Hopkins has over a decade of experience affiliated with BSA summer camps. Mr. Hopkins spent eight years as Camp Director of Camp Cherry Valley on Santa Catalina Island, and played a significant role in the development of the camp into a consistent million dollar program each summer; in fact, when he left that camp, the camp was sold out years in advance and the Council maintained a waiting list of up to three years for interested campers. As an educator in the winter months he has access to thousands of young people, many who have worked with him over the years in making summer camp for tens of thousands of boys a success. He has built a loyal group of young leaders who have been trained on how to run a successful camp. He has the tools and the knowledge to make your camp into a success.
